Kitchen has good food (especially the brunch) and from what i could tell, a pretty happening bar on the weekends...

Busara is going to be replaced by a restaurant called Blue Ridge, supposedly cut from a similar mold as Founding Farmers, but that could just be a rumor. A friend's wife works for the interior design firm handling the renovation of the space.

From an article I read...

"Barton Seaver, the guy who made Hook the amazing restaurant it was (and used to work at Cafe Saint-Ex and Bar Pilar), is now the executive chef at Blue Ridge, which will be opening on April 1st. Prices range from $13-20 for entrees and the new restaurant will be open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner."

If the owners of the new "Kitchen" are the same as they were at Ceviche, (which is how it reads your the blog post) then what's stopping Gin and Tonic from continuing to use the "Kitchen" as their food source.

This makes no sense.

How the heck did they open so quickly? This sounds like a bit of a hair-brained scheme, perhaps out of desperation, perhaps out of pure frugality. I'm hoping for the best though.

Thanks for letting us know though! Keep up the posting. PS I hear there may be some other (small scale) retail activity on Wisconsin.

I think its great to see new businesses opening up in Glover Park. I've lived here for 3 years and disliked that I always had to go upto Tenleytown/Friendship or down to Glover Park to get fast food or casual food or to go for a casual drink. New business brings new buzz (as long as its the right kind of buzz!).

God Bless Kelly, she was a neighbor and loved living in Glover Park and taking care of the pets through her business. God Bless her.
